About me

My current exhibition “Some Days in Minsk” is a cultural exchange project and will be premiering in Vaduz. Liechtenstein in 2022 in collaboration with the Belarusian Consulate in the Principality of Liechtenstein, the city council of Minsk, Belarus, and the Swiss Federal Department for Foreign Affairs (FDFA).

I discovered photography at an early age through my grandfather’s camera and his teachings. And thanks to his camera and his teachings, as aeroplane turbines carried me through adolescence, I was able to capture different friends, first loves, and hometowns over the years - just so I would not forget a single one of them.

Although my subjects range from people to buildings and landscapes, I believe my preferred motif is, simply put, the foreign cultures. And even though I can fixate myself just well enough on the former - well enough to produce simple, beautiful photography - I still think the latter has much more appeal.

Perhaps it is because the alien appeal of it makes every little thing more interesting.

There is no hassle, no rush, as everything surrounding you seems to fuel the inspiration.
